this past weekend we hosted a "neon infused" birthday party for my main man - MATT (that's a tongue twister). we hosted down at the warehouse. it was a family style "potluck" dinner followed by some great tunes by Matt Hill, State of Jefferson and Jared from the local band, the Illies. we asked the guests to wear neon - it was fun to see how creative some folks got. i've been seeing neon everywhere and really loving the pop it provides. it's quite possible to blend the new neon with the old funky chipped goods.
how about this idea for a wedding:
party favors: neon clear glasses
food: an assortment of rad, edgy food carts
entertainment: an assortment of 3 or 4 different bands (reggae, country, R&B and Love)
Flowers: Ranunculus
Tables: Ivory Lace with crazy colored vases
Ceremony Backdrop: neon colored Crayons melted in wax paper, cut out in circular or heart shapes.
